About the role
Our Bhaktapur branch houses our cardiac imaging service and a general X-ray / ultrasound unit. We need a competent technician to cover a 12-month maternity leave, with a strong chance of staying on permanently after the contract.
You will work alongside a senior radiologist and report into the imaging service lead. The unit runs Sunday through Friday, with light Saturday morning hours.
What you'll do
- Perform routine X-ray, ultrasound, and basic cardiac imaging studies
- Maintain equipment per manufacturer schedules and our QA log
- Coordinate with referring clinicians on study protocols and findings
- Mentor a junior technician on duty alongside you
- Contribute to imaging protocol updates as the unit grows
What we're looking for
- Diploma in Radiologic Technology with NMC/CTEVT registration
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience
- Hands-on experience with at least one major imaging vendor (Philips, GE, Siemens)
- Basic cardiac-imaging exposure preferred but not required
- Comfortable with Nepali and English documentation
