About the role
Our Patan pediatrics service runs Sunday through Friday with a small Saturday roster. This role is primarily clinic-based, with light ward cover when the unit is full.
You will be one of four nurses on the team, working closely with Dr. Bibek Thapa and visiting pediatric specialists. We are looking for someone calm under pressure who genuinely enjoys working with children and worried parents alike.
What you'll do
- Triage walk-in and scheduled pediatric patients
- Administer vaccinations per the national EPI schedule
- Support minor procedures and post-procedure observation
- Educate families on at-home care, especially after first illness
- Maintain accurate clinical notes in our EMR
What we're looking for
- BSc Nursing or registered nurse with pediatric experience
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification clinical experience
- Up-to-date BLS; PALS certification preferred
- Fluent Nepali; comfortable in conversational English
- Patient, warm communication style with children and parents
